Why Google Alphabet Using abc.xyz and Not Alphabet.com

Recently Google announced that it is introducing a new company called Alphabet, in which Google will be a part of Alphabet.
Google also revealed its new CEO Sundar Pichai and Alphabet CEO is Larry Page.
Since alphabet.com is owned by BMW, Google was pushed to use abc.xyz. German car manufacturing company BMW owns alphabet.com and it was not ready to sell the domain to Google. alphabet.com got registered back in 1997, said by the company’s spokesperson to The New York Times. 

alphabet.com was down when Google announced its new company Alphabet due to high traffic on the site.
And Now When BMW Is Not Selling Their Alphabet.com, Google Is Using abc.xyz as a Face or Front Website For Alphabet,
According To Some Blogs And Websites, Google Offered And Pursued alphabet.com To an extent but BMW was not ready to sell alphabet.com at any cost.
Mainly that’s why Alphabet used abc.xyz as their front web page for traffic!
And Also The Front page of alphabet.com for BMW says “Because Alphabet Is More Than Name To Us!” And I Believe That I Tells A Whole Story Itself…!
