Islamic Hackers Defaced French Canadian Political Website

The hacker group United Islamic Cyber Force has defaced a French Canadian political party (Bloc Québécois) website on Monday morning. The defaced page reads:

“The Prophet S.A.W said, you will invade the Arabian Peninsula and Allah will grant it (to you),” a statement on the page read. “Then (you will invade) Persia and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade Rome and Allah will grant it (to you). Then, you will invade The Dajjal and Allah will grant him (to you).”

Hackers who claimed the responsibility of defacing Bloc Québécois political party website said they are not affiliated with ISIS group. Rather, United Islamic Cyber Force want to “kick the haters of Islam online” and “to tell the politicians that we are the people of world who wants peace in world.

Helmi Noman, a senior researcher with the University of Toronto Citizen Lab said, “The hackers attacked a web server hosting a number of websites, including the Bloc’s. As a result, the same defacement message appears when one tries to access other websites on the same server.”

A spokesperson for the United Islamic Cyber Force pointed out, “The Bloc Québécois was the target simply because of their lack of respect towards women who wear the hijab.”
